Bwin’s fully integrated site offers 35 sports to choose from, and a massive range of live in-play markets. When you sign up with Bwin make sure not to miss out on Sportsbook Guardian’s free bet offer.
If you follow football, you will no doubt know the betting giant Bwin, as they sponsor both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Likewise if you are a regular reader of the financial press you will know that as of March 2011 the company merged with fellow European iGaming group Party Gaming to become the biggest combined gaming firm on the continent. Instead of the catchy “Pwin” the combined group is called the longer Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment.

Bwin are the sports betting dominant partner (with Party the poker experts) so it’s logical that unless the company sees merit in two independent platforms the Bwin sports betting platform will become the leading one of the two partners.
The Bwin site is probably my favourite out of all the bookmakers I use. When you go on their site you’ll find it’s very distinctive in a black and gold colour scheme, and visually looks clean with live betting updates and scores flashing up in front of you. It is seamlessly integrated within their platform that also has a games section, poker and casino.
Registration looked a little bit of an admin ordeal compared to some other sportsbooks out there, but wasn’t ultimately that bad, especially with auto-fill which will save you a bit of time so you can get straight into the punting action.
After registration the next logical step is to make a deposit so you’ll get your free bet bonus sooner than later. The choice of payment options s incredible, including methods I don’t often see elsewhere such as Kalixa and Freebet card making it as easy as ever for you to deposit and start betting.
The sports are laid out very intuitively, cleverly based on your address in the UK, you’ll be given a reduced option list of ten sports favoured by the British market such as rugby, golf, snooker, tennis and of course football (or soccer as the rest of the World calls it!). In all 35 sports are available to punt on, and the update on the menu proudly displayed that there are 13373 (total amount at the time of this review) betting options for you to choose from!
Bwin’s range of markets clearly puts it in an elite top three alongside Sportingbet and Bet365. If you’re a fan of bowls, lacrosse, rink hockey and handball Bwin’s the choice for you as they offer betting markets in all these and then some. They also have a small range of entertainment betting markets, but as readers of our blog know we love a bet on politics and were upset not to see markets for more of the specials.
The over-round percentages for football 1X2 totalled 108% for major matches, and 11% for lower league games. When you sign up to Bwin you can be sure they offer value that is comparable to other leading sportsbooks so they’ll definitely need to be on your list of operators to take advantage of a variety of the best value bets.
The betting slip is well designed and fixed into the top right of the screen (nothing worse than a pop-up bet slip), with help options prominently on display. The help glossary is useful, and is written in an American vernacular with “parlays” referred to instead of the UK’s “doubles”/”trebles” so even if you’re only starting out as a punter you’ll find Bwin will offer you plenty of support.
The only slight suggestion I have is for them to consider lowering their minimum stake from £0.50, as this can be expensive if you like to play large accumulators with many selections covered in doubles and trebles, unless you like to stake big in which case you probably wouldn’t even have noticed.
Bwin’s mobile products massively impressed me, including their poker app. If you’ve got an iPhone and like betting on the go make sure to download their app. Another positive was that you could easily download them on the app store, instead of having to browse the page on the phone browser. This can get pretty annoying pretty quickly but you won’t need to worry about that.
Bwin is in my opinion a tools site that has an impressive range of instruments; this focus has seen a lack of a community “web 2.0″ vibe that a lot of businesses are going after. Yet this doesn’t mean the site is bereft of content, and there is a whole video and live-streaming section to the site. But that shouldn’t put you off of signing up today because their betting product is top notch.
For you serious punters Bwin is indispensible within your betting arsenal, and if not on your list of operators already don’t forget to sign today to make the most out of your betting experience. To put a juicy cherry on top of the cake the Sportsbook Guardian team have a great free £25 offer for you to enjoy when you sign up with Bwin!

looks nice
I like bwin, their site looks really nice and it's easy to use. My boyfriend says it's rubbish but it's the only one I use
Sort out menus!
Bwin need to seriously sort out their menu system - was smacked of when trying to have a bet on the darts and even tho was a major sporting event their wasnt any clear button on the main page to take me to the market. I have found the Bwin deposit bonus to be ok, pretty similar to Ladbrokes and the others.
Would carry on using Bwin if they are best priced, but would say they need to look at website.

Bet365 – £200
Betclic
BetVictor – £25
Bwin – £25
Ladbrokes – £50
Paddy Power – £50
Pinnacle
Sportingbet – £100
Stan James – £150
Unibet – £20
William Hill – £25
