Not been punting since last Friday, when enjoyed Saigon’s 7/1 win (Friday’s Racing Blog) it suffered some interference in victory, and could still be one to stick the right side of.
A quite interesting jumps card at Worcester, with the early races revolving around short priced favourites, and later contests wide open. The market for the 3:20 Nervous Hurdle is headed by 4/9 shot All The Winds. I like big priced Taaresh who was higher rated than the jolly whilst they raced on the flat, and didn’t disgrace itself in it’s debut at Aintree. When a flat racer it had a tendency to idle in front, so Aidan Coleman will need to present it well.
I took 14/1 with Bet365 (SP guarantee) to win, with a small amount e/w. In the 2:50 beforehand I was scratching my head looking for something to take on 4/6 Safe Investment who is bidding for a hatrick after only 10 days off, and may find the 3m trip a bridge to far. However I couldn’t find anything credible in a weak field, so passed on a bet there.
Though it’s grim outside I wouldn’t mind popping down to Sandown this evening, but probably won’t make the spin round the M25 (if I do will tweet it!). I like the price of Silverware in the 7:40 7f Handicap and have taken 8/1 with Bet365 again. Those boys up at Stoke do like to go best priced.
Happy Punting.
