Ever since David Haye smashed a bottle into Dereck Chisora’s face, this heavyweight match-up has had some serious enemy. Haye is coming out of retirement while Chisora continues to try and build another heavyweight title challenge.

This one is going to be a great fight.

Rather than me put into words what has already happened. I thought a little reminder of how this fight came into view would be best.

Boxing Betting Baby!

So with Haye being mouthy as usual and Chisora having been bottled; this fight is going to be immense.

The bookies have made Haye the Favourite, tightly priced at 2/7 by Sky Bet. Haye is probably the better fight technically but he does seem to lack Chisora’s desire to win. Chisora price seems very tempting. Priced at 29/10 by Bwin. His price offers value.

Haye was comfortably beaten back in 2011 when he fought W. Klitschko but does he have a chance against Chisora?

Haye on the floor, but can Chisora do the same?

Haye has been retired and has not fought since his loss to W. Klitschko in 2011. It was an embarassing loss not only because his defensive fighting style was very fearful, but because he then had the audacity to blame his middle toe. Not the man I want to back.

Dereck Chisora has been nothing more than a new bundle of energy to the sport of boxing. He slapped Vitali Klitschko, kissed another fighting and even spat water in Wladamir Klitschko’s face. However, Chisora fought a lot more valiantly when he fought Vitali Klitschko and seemed to really go after the fight despite losing.

It is for this reason that I would suggest betting on Chisora to win is a good thing. I believe ‘Del Boy’ has the desire and the craziness to win this fight despite the fact that Haye’s fighting style matches up well against Chisora. The man from Zimbabwe is nicely priced at 29/10 by Bwin.

Enjoy this fight. I think it will be a good one. Expect Haye to make it last long though but COME ON DELBOY!

I got my journalism degree from Mississippi State University and have been offering advice on many sports for a fair few years now. I started off offering tips on tennis during the big tournaments (I played a lot as a junior) and really enjoyed helping out my Dad with tips.

After doing this for a few years, I realised that looking for value could be found in other sports that I enjoyed such as darts, snooker and football. This led to many accumulators no matter what the sport and then offering on advice on anybody that asked.

I am looking forward to putting my ideas down on paper and always appreciate comments from the reader.
