The return of Jimmy White, the ‘whirlwind’, to snooker will bring a huge smile on my face. The crazy left-hander, seemingly known off the table of recent, has qualified through to the China Open and has a crack at Judd Trump.
White was very upbeat about his return and still has that air of confidence about him.

Back to Ally Pally, but not for Darts
Enjoyed a superb day at Alexandra Palace on Tuesday, where I saw John Higgins make short work of an out of sorts (and possibly in decline) Matthew Stevens followed by Neil Robertson playing some flawless snooker to rattle off four frames in a row in defeating Mark Allen.
As blogged about already in my Ally Pally Snooker blog it’s a really well chosen location to host London’s premier snooker event.… Read More…

Fill your boots with the 11/10

So back to Ally Pally, after only a few weeks having attended the “arrers” with the guys from my day job!

So another Crucible World Championship over and John Higgins wins the Sheffield snooker extravaganza. However it seemed that the world and his dog were cheering on super aggressive (on table, nice lad in real life) Judd Trump.
For those not acquainted with the 21 year old Bristolian follow him on his twitter @judd147t, he updates it during frames.
His style of play is much like that of his practise partner Ronnie O’Sullivan except he smiles more and doesn’t threaten to quit every month.… Read More…
