Just a quick update on the website development, the team have been working hard to change some things on the back end and soon the front page will be a lot more content rich and featuring more blog and news accounts. In a change this week we edited the font to make it easier to read on webpages.… Read More…
Who the hell is Tiziano? If you are of the old school persuasion, you may remember Football Italia on channel 4 back in the 1990’s that featured the wild screaming of an Italian commentator during the programme’s introduction. You’ve seen the Ladbrokes adverts also right? The ones with the crazy Italian commentator running around and kissing his mobile phone after winning a bet on the football?… Read More…

This week it has been reported in the Racing Post and Financial Times that the Centaur Betting Investment Fund has gone into administration. Firstly want to pass condolences along to everyone who lost money investing in the Centaur Managed Funds.
It’s easy to be aloof and superior when things like this happen, but to be honest it’s probably better for me to just be thankful that it’s not my money that’s looking to be down the pan.… Read More…

Back to Ally Pally, but not for Darts
Enjoyed a superb day at Alexandra Palace on Tuesday, where I saw John Higgins make short work of an out of sorts (and possibly in decline) Matthew Stevens followed by Neil Robertson playing some flawless snooker to rattle off four frames in a row in defeating Mark Allen.
As blogged about already in my Ally Pally Snooker blog it’s a really well chosen location to host London’s premier snooker event.… Read More…

Comedy that changed face of darts
I came across this famous clip of Not the Nine O’Clock News sending up Darts in the days when Bristow, Lowey, Jocky Wilson and co. used to lubricate their throwing arms with limitless pints of lager, and sooth their nerves with frequent cigarettes. Seriously funny show, Mel Smith has gone on to be interested in racehorse ownership, and co-star Pamela Stevenson has become a Sex-Doctor.… Read More…
Coming up for a year after the merger of Bwin and Party Gaming I wanted to look at whether Sports betting customers are getting a better deal. In a couple of months it’s the year anniversary of the two betting giants getting into bed together, an event that was proceeded by much public spats and speculation, kind of like an internet gambling Brangelina!… Read More…
Hurricane Fly is now a best priced 9/4 with bookmakers to reclaim his title in the 2012 Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. The big question is whether or not this is a price that us punters should be smashing into given the fact that the talented hurdler has had well documented injury problems over the past few years.… Read More…

Late last year saw the crisp brand McCoy’s take over sponsorship of the Premier League Darts previously sponsored by 888.com. By attaching their deliciously savoury name to the 15 week tournament they have also become the official snack for (what is now known as) the McCoy’s Premier League Darts.
However, this is 2012 and in more recent news, on Monday the PDC announced William Hill’s partnership with the tournament; becoming their official betting partner.… Read More…
Eight stood their ground at the five day stage for the Victor Chandler Chase over 2m1f at Ascot on Sunday. The Market is headed by Finian’s Rainbow, trained by Nicky Henderson. His price ranges from 13/8 to a best priced 15/8 with Sportingbet.
This likeable 9 year old is as short as 4/1 for the Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham in eight weeks time.… Read More…
